What are objects?

Written by Ruben van Gaalen

In Lynk we work with objects. An object is a list of data where every item has multiple properties.

  • Contracts is a standard object. A contract has a name, but also a status, an effective date, an indexation, a contract party, etc.

  • Contract party, Entity and Project are custom objects. A contract party, for example, has a name, a Chamber of Commerce number and an address.

  • You can add your own objects, for example Buildings or Regions.

To see your objects:

  1. In the top left corner, click on your name.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. A new sidebar appears to the left, click on Objects.

Callout: Contracts is a standard object and has more functionality than custom objects, such as labels, document types and AI processing.
